The makeup makeover session went better than expected. Not that Bobbie was sold on everything Ella did to her face—they did go through half a pack of makeup removal wipes. But Bobbie learned tons from watching Ella disinfect her brushes and products before putting anything on her and studying the techniques she was using. Ella was quite knowledgeable about it all, and while Bobbie thought eye shadow and foundation were too much, she kind of liked what a little mascara did to her eyes. Ella cracked open a new bottle just for her and gave it to her.

In the end, Bobbie didn’t look like she was wearing much makeup, yet it did make her face look a little different. Stylish. That was interesting. And not intimidating at all. She might very well start wearing some makeup occasionally from now on.
